Chris Monhof is a native of Columbus, Georgia and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 in 2009 after 22 years of service. He was deployed 44 months in support of three Operation Iraqi Freedom missions. As an Artillery Targeting Officer, he made strategic decisions in relation to thermal ground reconnaissance and air to surface strikes on enemy targets.
Chris served in 1st Armored Division, 2nd Infantry Division, 3rd Infantry Division, 24th Infantry Division, and III Corps Artillery. He is a graduate of Central Texas College and holds a Certificate in Emergency Management.
Chris owns Southern Hog Control, LLC and has a lifetime of experience hunting wild hogs in the swamps and backwoods of Fort Stewart and Fort Benning, Georgia. He has been conducting thermal hog control missions with JAGER PRO™ since 2009.
Lance Dement - Director of Trapping Operations
Lance Dement retired after a 24 year Army career and served at the US Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU) for 20 years. He earned a position on the US Olympic Team and won the US National Championships in 10 meter running target and 50 meter running boar. Lance also competed on the USAMU Service Rifle team, winning the 1000 yard Wimbledon Cup (scope) and Leech Cup (iron sight) and was a firing member on five record setting teams. He was awarded the Presidents Hundred Tab, International Distinguished Badge, Distinguished Rifleman Badge and Distinguished Pistol Shot Badge. He is a member of an elite group to have earned all three distinguished badges.
Lance taught thousands of Soldiers Basic Rifle Marksmanship (BRM), Squad Designated Marksman (SDM) and Train the Trainer (TTT) courses to raise the standard of the Army’s marksmanship proficiency. He is a graduate of Airborne School, Ranger School and Special Operations Target Interdiction Course (SOTIC).
Lance became the Director of Trapping Operations in February of 2012 and currently holds the company trapping record with 33 hogs in one M.I.N.E. trap. He is the owner of Killin’ Time Outfitters LLC, specializing in nuisance wildlife control and removal. Lance has been hunting and trapping hogs on Fort Benning for the past 15 years.
Lance Hopper - Thermal Hog Control Guide
Lance Hopper served 20 years with the United States Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU) and retired in 2008. During his career, he won a World Championship, six National Championships, and numerous Interservice Championships. He is a member of the President’s 100 and holds the Distinguished Rifle and International Badges.
Lance was one of the architects for the Army's Squad Designated Marksman program and personally trained thousands of soldiers to apply and teach the skills needed to be more proficient marksmen. Upon his retirement, he was inducted into the U.S. Army Service Rifle Hall of Fame.
Lance became a JAGER PRO™ Thermal Hog Control Guide in February 2010 and currently holds the company guide record with 27 hogs in one night. He is a member of the U.S. Long Range Team and owns One Shot Accuracy, LLC. He is available for private and small group marksmanship instruction.
Ron Guinn - Thermal Hog Control Guide
Ron retired from the US Army with 24 years in combat arms. He spent his entire career in the Armor Corp and specialized in combative tactics, techniques, movement and concealment. His "Tank Killer" training taught him to utilize terrain and natural surroundings to get close and destroy enemy targets during Operation Desert Storm.
Ron served in the 1st Armored Division (AD), 2nd AD, 3rd Infantry Division (ID), 4th ID and 5th ID which included deployments to Cuba, Kosovo, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq. His tank was hit 13 times from enemy fire during the OIF-5 rotation to Iraq.
Ron owns Salty Hog Outdoors, LLC and operates an offshore chartering business based out of Panama City, Florida. He has 37 years of hunting experience with 11 years hunting wild hogs in Georgia. He has been conducting thermal hog control missions with JAGER PRO™ since January 2012.
